FIRST, I WOULD LIKE TO RECOGNIZE IN THE AUDIENCE MY INCREDIBLY TALENTED WIFE OF 24 YEARS, BOBBIE, AND MY DAUGHTER MORGAN, WHO IS A SOPHOMORE AT BONITA HIGH SCHOOL.

NOT HERE, BUT IN SPIRIT IS HER TWIN BROTHER, MITCHELL, WHO IS CURRENTLY ENTERTAINING OTHERS RIGHT NOW PLAYING AT THE BCA.

TOGETHER, THEY ARE MY INSPIRATION AND A MAJOR INSTRUMENT IN KEEPING MY COMPASS TRUE.

BEING NAMED AT BONITA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, SENIOR DIRECTOR OF STUDENT SERVICES IS AN HONOR AND ONE THAT I ACCEPT WITHOUT HESITATION.

HAVING SERVED SCHOOL COMMUNITIES FOR 27 YEARS, NEARLY 20 OF WHICH HAVE BEEN AS A SCHOOL SITE ADMINISTRATOR, IT IS TIME TO SHARE MY TALENTS, EXPERIENCE AND MY PASSION TO SERVE STUDENTS, STAFF AND FAMILIES ON A BROADER SCALE.

ALTHOUGH I HAVE SERVED THREE SCHOOL DISTRICTS OVER THE SPAN, IT HAS BEEN MY PAST TEN YEARS WITH THE BONITA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT THAT ARE BY FAR MY MOST REWARDING.

I HAVE BEEN BLESSED TO WORK WITH SO MANY AMAZING INDIVIDUALS AT RAMONA MIDDLE SCHOOL, AND FOR THE PAST EIGHT YEARS, MY BELOVED OAK MESA SCHOOL.

EACH DAY, I'VE HAD THE PRIVILEGE OF WITNESSING THE INCREDIBLE WORK THAT IS PUT FORWARD BY TEACHERS, OFFICE STAFF, HEALTH PROFESSIONALS, CUSTODIANS AND SUPPORT STAFF ALL WITH A PASSION TO ALLOW OUR STUDENTS TO LIVE THEIR PURPOSE.

HAVING WORKED WITH SUCH INDIVIDUALS HAS MADE ME A BETTER PRINCIPAL.

I HAVE ALSO BEEN FORTUNATE OVER THE PAST TEN YEARS TO HAVE WORKED AND BUILT COUNTLESS POSITIVE RELATIONSHIPS WITH AN AMAZING DISTRICT OFFICE, SITE ADMINISTRATORS, LEADERS, AND MEMBERS OF BOTH CSCA AND BUDA, AND A BOARD OF EDUCATION THAT IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING OUR STUDENTS AND STAFF WITH THE TOOLS NEEDED TO DO THE JOB THAT WE ARE HIRED TO DO WHILE SUPPORTING A SCHOOL COMMUNITY THAT IS INCLUSIVE FOR ALL.

AS I PREPARE FOR MY NEW ROLE AS SENIOR DIRECTOR OF STUDENT SERVICES, I INTEND TO HIT THE ROAD RUNNING BY LEARNING FROM EACH OF OUR SHAREHOLDERS, IDENTIFYING AND BUILDING ON OUR STRENGTHS AND ADDRESSING OUR CHALLENGES HEAD ON AS TOGETHER WE CONTINUE TO STRIVE FOR EXCELLENCE.

[16. DISCUSSION/ACTION AGENDA]

BUSINESS SERVICES APPROVED SECOND INTERIM FINANCIAL REPORT AS OF JANUARY 31ST, 2024, AS PRESENTED WITH A POSITIVE CERTIFICATION.

GOOD EVENING. THANK YOU.

TONIGHT, I'LL BE PRESENTING THE SECOND INTERIM REPORT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30TH, 2024.

SO, LIKE I ALWAYS LIKE TO EXPLAIN, THIS IS ONE OF OUR THREE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORTS.

IT'S BASICALLY OUR REPORT CARD TO THE BOARD OF HOW THE DISTRICT IS MANAGING OUR FINANCIAL POSITION.

WE REPORT OUR FINANCIAL POSITION AS OF JANUARY 31ST AND PROJECT FROM HERE ON TO THE END OF THE FISCAL YEAR.

SO THE COMPONENTS OF THE REPORT INCLUDE OUR FINANCIAL STATEMENTS, WHERE WE COMPARE FIRST INTERIM TO SECOND INTERIM, AND THEN WE ALSO INCLUDE THE ACTUAL STATE REPORT THAT IS THE SMALLEST FONT YOU COULD EVER FIND.

BUT WE HAVE TO ALWAYS REPORT THAT ALONG WITH SOME CHECKS, CHECKLISTS TO MAKE SURE THAT ALL OF OUR DATA WAS UPLOADED PROPERLY TO THE STATE SOFTWARE.

FINALLY, THE MULTI YEAR PROJECTION IS ANOTHER TOOL THAT WE INCLUDE AND WE HIGHLY DEPEND ON.

SO WE REVIEW ALL OF OUR ACCOUNTS.

AND THERE'S FROM FIRST INTERIM TO SECOND INTERIM, WE'D LIKE TO REVIEW ANY MATERIAL CHANGES.

AND THAT'S WHAT I WOULD COME TO YOU TO REPORT IF THERE WAS ANYTHING OUT OF THE ORDINARY.

BUT EVERYTHING THAT'S HAPPENED WAS NORMAL AND REASONABLE FOR THE PERIOD THAT WE ARE REPORTING ON.

MOST OF THE ADJUSTMENTS THAT WE DO TO THE BUDGET ARE JUST ROUTINE IN NATURE.

EXAMPLES OF OTHER CHANGES THAT WE LOOK AT ARE ANY CHANGES IN ENROLLMENT AND PROJECTIONS FOR OUR AVERAGE DAILY ATTENDANCE REVENUE THAT WE REPORT? THERE IS, I'LL GO INTO DETAIL A LITTLE LATER BASED ON SOME CHANGES THAT WE DID CHANGE.

SORRY, OVER USING THE WORD CHANGE.

AND WE LOOK AT AND ANALYZE SALARY AND BENEFITS AND ALL OF OUR OTHER REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE ACCOUNTS.

[00:30:03]

SO LOOKING AT THE CHANGES BETWEEN FIRST AND SECOND INTERIM, WE HAD SOME INCREASES IN REVENUE AND THEN WE HAD SOME INCREASES IN EXPENDITURES.

SO AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT WE INCREASED REVENUE WOULD BE OUR LCFF.

WE WENT BACK AND WE LOOKED AT THE REPORT THAT THE ATTENDANCE REPORT THAT WE FILED FOR P1 IN EARLY JANUARY HAPPY TO REPORT THAT WE WERE UP.

WE REPORTED OUR ADA PROJECTED OUT BASED ON P1 AS AN INCREASE.

SO WE GO BACK TO OUR PROJECTIONS THAT WE MADE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE FISCAL YEAR.

WE RECALCULATE, AND WE WERE HAPPY TO BE ABLE TO JUSTIFY A CONSERVATIVE INCREASE TO OUR REVENUE.

OTHER THINGS THAT WE DON'T BUDGET FOR UNTIL WE ACTUALLY RECEIVE IT WOULD BE AN INCREASE IN THE TRANSPORTATION REIMBURSEMENT, A PARTIAL PAYMENT THAT CAME TO US.

SO THOSE ARE PART OF THE ADJUSTMENTS THAT WE DO TO REVENUE.

LIKEWISE, WE DO ADJUSTMENTS TO EXPENDITURES.

ONE OF THE THINGS THAT WE DO IS WE DISTRIBUTED TO OUR SITES THE INCENTIVE THAT WE PROMISED FOR THE ATTENDANCE WORK THAT THEY'VE BEEN DOING TO IMPROVE, WHICH ACTUALLY WE GOT TO SEE P1 INCREASE.

SO WE WENT AHEAD AND INCREASED THOSE EXPENDITURE BUDGETS.

ONE OF THE SIGNIFICANT DECREASES THAT WE DID WAS WHAT WE USUALLY DO AT THIS TIME OF THE YEAR, WHERE WE RELEASE FROM OUR ENCUMBRANCE THE UNUSED BENEFIT BUDGETS FOR ALL OF OUR EMPLOYEES THAT AREN'T TAKING OUR OWN BENEFITS.

SO WE GO AHEAD AND AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR, BUDGET FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR FOR ALL EMPLOYEES.

BUT AS TIME GOES ON, WE KNOW THAT THEY HAVEN'T USED THAT.

SO WE RELEASE PAST FROM JULY 1ST TO DECEMBER.

IT IS STILL THERE. WE WERE CONSERVATIVE IN THAT REDUCTION SO THAT IF THERE'S ANY LIFE CHANGES, THE BUDGET IS THERE FOR ANY EMPLOYEES USE.

SO OVERALL TAKING IN INCREASES IN REVENUE AND INCREASE IN EXPENDITURES, WE'VE IMPROVED OUR FINANCIAL POSITION BY $570,000 BETWEEN FIRST INTERIM AND SECOND INTERIM.

SO NOW THAT CHANGES OUR PROJECTION FOR OUR ENDING FUND BALANCE.

FOR THE UNRESTRICTED PORTION AT JUNE 30TH WE'RE PROJECTING A 22.8 BILLION.

I WISH IT WAS BILLION. SORRY.

MILLION. FOR THIS FISCAL YEAR END, WHICH REPRESENTS 14.33% OF OUR UNRESTRICTED OUR TOTAL GENERAL FUND EXPENDITURES, WHICH IS WELL ABOVE STILL THE 3% STATE REQUIREMENT.

SO LIKE I MENTIONED, THE NEXT PART OF THE REPORT THAT WE DEPEND HIGHLY ON IS OUR MULTI YEAR PROJECTIONS.

SO IN JANUARY WE START OFF ANTICIPATING THE GOVERNOR'S RELEASE FOR THE STATE BUDGET NEXT FISCAL YEAR.

THIS INCLUDES A LOT OF INFORMATION THAT WE USE IN OUR OWN PROJECTIONS.

UNFORTUNATELY SOMETIMES IT'S GREAT NEWS, SOMETIMES IT'S NOT SO GREAT NEWS.

SO WE LOOK AND WE ANTICIPATE AND WE EVERYONE DIVES TO FIND OUT WHAT IS THE COLA GOING TO BE.

BUT ALONG THE LINES OF COLA, THERE'S ALWAYS SO MUCH MORE INFORMATION THAT WE LOOK TO.

SO ONCE WE DECIPHER ALL OF THAT, WE LOOK TO SEE HOW DOES IT IMPACT OUR DISTRICT.

SO I'LL GO INTO SOME OF THE CHANGES THAT WE'VE SEEN.

SO LIKE I MENTIONED, COLA IS ONE OF THE MOST POPULAR THINGS THAT PEOPLE DIVE TO WHEN THEY KNOW THERE'S NEW INFORMATION OUT THERE.

IT'S KIND OF LIKE A TELL ALL IN ONE SHOT.

SO AT FIRST INTERIM, WE WERE BUDGETING A, 2 PERCENT COLA FOR NEXT FISCAL YEAR.

FOR FISCAL YEAR 2425.

WE KNEW THAT THE MINUTE I SAID THAT BACK IN DECEMBER, I KNEW IT WAS ALREADY GOING TO CHANGE BECAUSE WE WERE ALREADY LOOKING AT A 1%.

WELL, IT'S CONTINUED TO JUST KEEP CHANGING AND NOT IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

SO NOW IN JANUARY, HE RELEASED HIS BUDGET PROPOSAL WITH A 0.76% COLA.

THIS IS OTHER CONSERVATIVE AGENCIES ARE SAYING THAT EVEN THIS IS OVERREACHING, THAT REALLY WE SHOULD BE LOOKING AT A ZERO COLA.

BUT AGAIN, THESE ARE ALL ESTIMATES BASED ON ECONOMIC FACTORS ACROSS THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.

WE JUST HOLD BACK.

WE BUDGET BASED ON WHAT WE DO KNOW, WHICH ARE THEIR PROJECTIONS.

AND WE MAKE ANY WE PREPARE.

BUT WE WILL MAKE OUR FINAL PROJECTIONS OR I SHOULD SAY, ADJUSTMENTS WHEN WE PREPARE THE BUDGET AT THE END OF THE YEAR.

JUST FOR REFERENCE, THE THIRD YEAR OUT, THE COLA THAT WE REPORTED ON IN AT FIRST INTERIM WAS 3.29%.

[00:35:07]

AND THAT ALSO TOOK A DIP.

SO WE'RE JUST LOOKING WE'RE JUST TRYING TO BE POSITIVE AT THIS POINT.

BUT LIKE I MENTIONED, OUR ADA, WE DID WORK ON IT AND IT DID IMPROVE.

UNFORTUNATELY, WE'RE NOT FUNDED ON P1, BUT IT IS ALLOWING US TO BE ABLE TO PROJECT AT LEAST A CONSERVATIVE IMPROVEMENT THAT WE'RE DOING THAT WE CAN CONTROL, AT LEAST ON OUR SIDE AND SO THAT IS THE NUMBER THAT WE'RE USING TO PROJECT FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS OUT.

SO WE WENT AHEAD AND UPDATED THOSE.

SO WITH THE COLA, WE SEE THAT THE DOLLARS PER ADA HAS GONE UP.

WE HAVE THE SIGNIFICANT BUMP UP THAT WE HAD THIS YEAR AND THEN NEXT YEAR IT JUST TAKES A LITTLE DIP WITH THE THIRD YEAR OUT KIND OF GROWING AGAIN.

BUT IF WE CAN IMPROVE OUR ADA AS A DISTRICT, WE'LL DO OUR PART AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THESE INCREASES.

SO WE ALWAYS UPDATE ALL OF OUR EXPENDITURES FOR ALL THREE YEARS, INCLUDING STEP AND COLUMN, OUR RETIREMENT RATES.

THERE IS NO INCREASE IN STRS.

PERS DID SEE A SLIGHT 1%, A LITTLE LESS THAN 1% INCREASE IN THE NEXT THREE YEARS.

THERE'S SLIGHT INFLATIONARY INCREASES, BUT THEY'RE DOWN BACK TO WHAT WE'VE NORMALLY SEEN 2%, 2.8 I THINK IS NEXT YEAR'S.

SO AND OUR NEGOTIATIONS ARE ONGOING.

SO WITH ALL THAT SAID, OUR THIRD YEAR OUT, WE'RE LOOKING AT A PROJECTED UNRESTRICTED ENDING FUND BALANCE OF 15.3%.

SORRY MILLION I'M SORRY.

AND THAT REPRESENTS 9.83% OF OUR TOTAL EXPENDITURE.

SO THIS AT LEAST ALLOWS US TO KNOW THAT OUR THIRD YEAR OUT, WE'RE ABLE TO MEET THE DISTRICT'S OBLIGATIONS FOR CURRENT YEAR AND THEN IN THE NEXT TWO YEARS.

SO WE'RE ABLE TO FILE A POSITIVE CERTIFICATION, WHICH WE APPRECIATE, BECAUSE NOT EVERY DISTRICT CAN SAY THAT AT THIS TIME.

THEY'RE LOOKING AT SOME SCARY NUMBERS.

SO OUR NEXT STEPS IS WE'LL FILE OUR SECOND INTERIM REPORT WITH LACOE.

WILL ANTICIPATE THE EXCITEMENT THAT OUR P2 ATTENDANCE REPORT WILL GENERATE IN APRIL.

WE'LL WORK WITH ED SERVICES ON THE LCAP.

AND WE'LL BE WE'VE ALREADY BEGUN OUR PROCESS OF WORKING ON THE BUDGET, AND MY NEXT STEP IS TO THANK OUR SENIOR DIRECTOR AND HER TEAM FOR ALL OF THE WORK THAT ALWAYS GOES INTO THESE REPORTS, AND ALL THE WORK CAN'T BE REFLECTED IN A QUICK FIVE MINUTE PRESENTATION.

THANK YOU. ANY QUESTIONS? HI SONIA, I DID HAVE ONE QUESTION, ALTHOUGH IT WASN'T ON YOUR PRESENTATION.

THE BOARD GOES THROUGH THE INTERIM REPORT AND HOPEFULLY YOU'LL UNDERSTAND ME WHEN I ASK THIS QUESTION.

IN THE RESTRICTED GENERAL FUND ROWS AND COLUMNS, THERE'S OTHER FINANCING SOURCES AND THE VERY LAST ONE ON THAT IS CONTRIBUTIONS. AND IT'S SIGNIFICANT AT 12 MILLION OR 13 MILLION.

AND I WASN'T QUITE SURE WHAT IT WAS.

YES. SO THE RESTRICTED THAT IS THE GENERAL FUND MAKING A CONTRIBUTION FOR THE SPECIAL ED PROGRAM.

THAT'S WHEN WE THEY ALWAYS TALK ABOUT COSTS IN RESTRICTED GOING OVER AND NEEDS TO BE COVERED BY THE GENERAL FUND.

YES. SO WE DO RECEIVE MONEY DIRECTLY FOR OUR SPECIAL ED PROGRAM.

AND IT'S NOT SUFFICIENT TO COVER ALL OF THE SERVICES AND PROGRAM NEEDS THAT WE HAVE.

SO THE GENERAL FUND MAKES A CONTRIBUTION TO COVER THE DIFFERENCE.

AND AT BEGINNING BUDGET, LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE, IT'S FULLY BUDGETED AS WE GO THROUGH.

SOMETIMES WE ADD THINGS IN TOWARDS THE END OF THE YEAR.

WE HOPE THAT SOME THINGS DO FALL OUT AND THAT WE CAN REPORT A SMALLER CONTRIBUTION.

BUT YES, THAT'S WHAT THAT IS.

THANK YOU. ANY OTHER QUESTIONS? YEAH. YOU KNOW, IN THE OLD DAYS WE CALL THAT ENCROACHMENT.

NO, WE DON'T CALL THAT ENCROACHMENT ANYMORE.

IT'S A CONTRIBUTION FOR ALL THE RIGHT REASONS.

YES IT IS. YOU KNOW, YOU MENTIONED INFLATION AND INFLATION IS ACTUALLY KIND OF NORMALIZING COMING IN FOR A LANDING KIND OF BACK WHERE IT BELONGS.

BUT THE LEGACY OF INFLATION AND THE EFFECTS ON COSTS.

RIGHT. DO YOU HAVE A SENSE ABOUT WHAT, YOU KNOW, THOSE EMBEDDED COSTS THAT WE'VE REALIZED OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF YEARS? YES. SO WE SAW THE BIG JUMP IN OUR CPI PERCENTAGE THAT WE ADDED ABOUT A YEAR AND A HALF AGO, AND YOU'D HAVE TO HAVE A NEGATIVE INFLATIONARY FACTOR FOR IT TO GO BACK DOWN. BUT WHAT WE'D LIKE TO SEE IS THAT EVERY YEAR IT ONLY GOES UP BY LIKE A 2%, BECAUSE IT IS ON TOP OF THE OLD NUMBER IT UNLESS IT WAS A NEGATIVE.

SO WE'D LIKE TO SEE IT BE A 1%, A 1.5, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE WE'RE AT LEAST WE'RE NOT IN THE THREE AND 4% RANGE ANYMORE.

[00:40:07]

RIGHT. AND YOU MENTIONED IT BRIEFLY.

BUT YOU KNOW, AS WE LOOK AHEAD TO THE NEXT FISCAL YEAR AND BUDGET PREPARATION, CAN YOU GIVE US A SENTENCE ON WHAT THAT LOOKS LIKE AND HOW, YOU KNOW, OUR TEAMS HERE WORK TOGETHER ON PREPARING THE BUDGET, WHICH WILL PASS IN JUNE.

SO CURRENTLY WE HAVE JASMINE AND THE TEAM IS MEETING WITH EACH AND EVERY ONE OF OUR SCHOOL SITES AND DEPARTMENT HEADS.

WE GO AHEAD AND MEET WITH THEM, WE SIT DOWN WITH THEM, AND WE GO OVER EVERY SINGLE ACCOUNT STRING THAT IS IN THEIR BUDGET.

WE LOOK AT WHAT THEY SPENT LAST YEAR.

WE LOOK AT ANY NEW COSTS THEY MAY HAVE, ANY NEW ITEMS THEY'D LIKE TO ADD, OR THINGS THAT ARE NOW OBSOLETE, THAT THEY'RE DROPPING OUT.

THE COST OF OF PERSONNEL, THE COST OF LABOR PER HOUR HAS INCREASED.

SO OUR SCHOOL SITES SAW A LITTLE BUMP.

BUT IN ORDER TO GIVE THEM A NOW, EXCUSE ME, A BUMP IN THEIR ALLOCATION, WE HAD TO BALANCE THAT OUT WITH REACHING OUT TO OUR DEPARTMENTS TO SAY, LET'S BUDGET FOR THE ESSENTIAL. SO SOME OF THE THINGS WE'LL HAVE TO DO AS WE GO ON.

BUT FOR RIGHT NOW, LET'S BUDGET FOR WHAT WE KNOW IS ESSENTIAL AND LET THE SCHOOL SITES HAVE THAT FLEXIBILITY IN THEIR BUDGETING.

SO ONCE WE GO AHEAD AND CALIBRATE ALL OF THAT INFORMATION, ALL THOSE LINES OF BUDGETS, WE COME TOGETHER, WE ADD IN THE OVERALL DISTRICT BUDGET.

AND THAT'S WHAT WE START BALANCING BECAUSE WE HAVE TO LOOK AT WHAT CAN WE AFFORD, WHAT IS IT THAT WE CAN DO DISTRICT WIDE.

AND THAT'S WHAT WE COME TO YOU AND PRESENT AS THE BUDGET.

BESIDES THE, YOU KNOW, THE THEATER BEHIND THE MAY REVISE THAT THE GOVERNOR OFFERS THE LEGISLATURE ON THEIR PATHWAY TO PASSING A NEW BUDGET.

WHAT DO WE DO? DO WE GO TO SEMINARS AND YES, I'M SURE WE DO SCHOOL SERVICES AND SO ON.

WHO ATTENDS THOSE SEMINARS? SO ANYBODY WHO'S WILLING TO.

BUT NO, ACTUALLY WE HAVE OUR EXECUTIVE CABINET THAT GOES OUR UNION LEADERSHIP GO AS WELL AND I THINK THAT'S PRETTY MUCH WHO WE YOU KNOW, WE HAVE OUR FINANCIAL TEAM WHO GOES WHO.

ACTUALLY, IT'S GREAT FOR THEM TO HEAR IT FIRSTHAND.

BUT WE HAVE THIS TEAM THAT.

TRAVELS TOGETHER, AND WHEN WE HAVE ZOOM WEBINARS, WE GO AHEAD AND SHARE THE INFORMATION WITH EACH OTHER AFTER.

ALL RIGHT. THANK YOU SONIA.

I JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU FOR ALL THE WORK YOU DID.

ALL YOUR NOTES AND JUST HOW YOU PUT EVERYTHING TOGETHER WAS VERY CLEAR.

SO THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

THANK YOU. JUST A QUICK COMMENT.

OVER THE YEARS, WE'VE BEEN VERY JUDICIOUS IN OUR BUDGETING AND OUR SPENDING, AND WE GET A LOT OF INFORMATION VIA EMAIL AND OTHER THINGS ON THE BOARD.

AND LATELY I'VE BEEN SEEING A LOT OF MASS LAYOFF NOTICES GOING IN DIFFERENT DISTRICTS, ADA GOING DOWN, ENROLLMENT DOWN EVERYTHING.

AND I JUST APPRECIATE THE WAY THE DISTRICT OPERATES THAT WE NEVER OVEREXTEND.

WHEN THE BIG CRUNCH HIT SEVERAL YEARS AGO, SOME OF OUR LOCAL DISTRICTS WERE PINK SLIPPING, EVERYONE KNOWING THAT NOT ALL OF THEM WOULD BE SENT OFF, BUT THEY JUST SHOT-GUNNED THEIR ENTIRE STAFFS.

AND WE'VE BEEN VERY JUDICIOUS.

IF WE NEED SOME MAYBE 1 OR 2 EXTRA JUST IN CASE.

BUT I APPRECIATE THE TACK THAT WE'VE TAKEN AND CONTINUE TO TAKE FOR THE SURRENDER OR SECURITY OF OUR STAFF, LET'S PUT IT THAT WAY.

AND THEIR SENSE OF WELL-BEING AND OUR COMMUNITY THAT WE'RE WE'RE TAKING GOOD CARE OF THEIR MONEY.

AND OUR KIDS ARE STILL GETTING BETTER AS WE GO.

SO YES.

GREAT. THANK YOU.

ALL RIGHT. THANK YOU. THANK YOU.

SONIA, DO I HAVE A MOTION TO APPROVE THIS REPORT? SO MOVED. SECOND, ANY DISCUSSION? ALL IN FAVOR? AYE. IT'S UNANIMOUS.

ALRIGHT, SUPERINTENDENT ELECTION OF CANDIDATES TO THE CSBA DELEGATE ASSEMBLY.

YEP. SO THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO VOTE ON THE CSBA DELEGATE ASSEMBLY BALLOT.

HAS TWO CANDIDATES VYING FOR TWO SPOTS.

THEY'RE BOTH INCUMBENTS TO THEIR POSITIONS.

ALL RIGHT I LIKE TO MAKE A MOTION TO NOMINATE JEANETTE FLORES FROM CHARTER OAK.

SECOND. ANY DISCUSSION? IN FAVOR, SAY AYE? AYE. OPPOSED? ALRIGHT. REPORTS FROM MEMBERS OF THE BOARD AND SUPERINTENDENT.

[17. REPORTS FROM MEMBERS OF THE BOARD AND SUPERINTENDENT]

GO AHEAD. GLENN. I'D LIKE TO START BY CONGRATULATING CHAP ON GETTING THE CONTINUATION HIGH SCHOOL AGAIN.

WELL DESERVED.

AND TWO MORE CIF CHAMPIONS.

WE ARE THE DISTRICT OF CHAMPIONS BECAUSE IT SEEMS LIKE EVERY MONTH WE HAVE SOMEONE HERE AND SAN DIMAS DANCE TEAM WITH THEIR STATE TITLE AND

[00:45:02]

BONITA PROSTART TEAM, WHICH I GUESS WE CAN'T CALL THEM BONITA PROSTART TEAM ANYMORE.

THEY'RE NOW OFFICIALLY TEAM CALIFORNIA AS THEY GO ON TO THE NATIONALS.

I ALSO LIKE TO CONGRATULATE SOME OF OUR LOCAL ELECTEDS.

ERIC WEBER WAS REELECTED TO HIS SECOND TERM IN THE SAN DIMAS CITY COUNCIL PENDING THE FINAL COUNT, BUT WAS WAY AHEAD.

RACHEL TALKS TO A FIRST TERM AND SAN DIMAS TO CITY COUNCIL.

EMMETT BADER, THE MAYOR, WAS RAN UNOPPOSED AND WAS MENTIONED LAST MONTH.

RICK CROSBY AND WENDY LAO IN LA VERNE RAN UNOPPOSED.

SO THE NEXT TIME YOU HEAR US TALK ABOUT ELECTION WILL BE IN NOVEMBER.

AND AT THAT TIME, THERE'LL BE AT LEAST ONE NEW BOARD MEMBER UP HERE, BECAUSE WE'LL BE ELECTING A BOARD MEMBER FOR OUR AREA FIVE, AND THERE'LL BE ONE LESS THAT WILL BE HERE BECAUSE I'LL BE RETIRING.

SO IT'S GOING TO BE A QUICK WRAP UP FOR A 21 YEAR CAREER FOR THE NEXT FEW MONTHS FOR ME, BUT START THINKING ABOUT THE ELECTION IN NOVEMBER FOR YOUR BOARD OF EDUCATION.

THAT'S IT. GOOD EVENING.

JUST A REMINDER TO GET YOUR SPONSORSHIP AND TICKETS FOR THE ANNUAL LA VERNE SAN DIMAS EDUCATIONAL FOUNDATION ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT ON APRIL 22ND AT VILA VERDE COUNTRY CLUB.

AND REMEMBER, THE DEADLINE IS SET AT APRIL 15TH.

YOU KNOW, THIS MONTH WE'RE RECOGNIZING WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH AND THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF ALL THE WOMEN OF BONITA UNIFIED WHO REMAIN THE FOUNDATION OF THE BONITA WAY.

ALSO THIS MONTH, WE PASSED A RESOLUTION EARLIER TONIGHT RECOGNIZING AUTISM ACCEPTANCE MONTH WITH A NOD TO OUR DISTRICT'S WORK TO PROVIDE PATHWAYS FOR STUDENTS LEARNING REGARDLESS OF THEIR NEEDS, AND A SPECIAL NOD TO MY DAUGHTER AND HER DEDICATION TO LEARNING FOR STUDENTS WITH SPECIAL NEEDS.

ALSO, CONGRATULATIONS TO RAMONA MIDDLE SCHOOL FOR BEING RECOGNIZED BY THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AS A CALIFORNIA DISTINGUISHED SCHOOL. HOT OFF THE PRESS.

JUST YESTERDAY, CHAPARRAL HIGH SCHOOL WAS ONCE AGAIN, AND I EMPHASIZE ONCE AGAIN RECOGNIZED BY THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION AS A MODEL CONTINUATION SCHOOL. THANKS TO NICOLE GRANT FOR OUR RECENT CAMPUS LEARNING WALK AT LA VERNE HEIGHTS, AND TO WITNESS FIRSTHAND THE FOCUS ON EARLY LITERACY. GOTTA LOVE THAT.

ESPECIALLY IN TK AND KINDERGARTEN, AS ONCE AGAIN EVIDENT BY OUR RECOGNITION FROM THE CALIFORNIA READING COALITION FOR BEING NUMBER ONE IN THE STATE IN READING.

CONGRATULATIONS TO LORI BRANDLER AND THE BHS PROSTART CULINARY TEAM FOR WINNING NUMBER ONE IN THE STATE.

AND GOOD LUCK IN THE NATIONALS NEXT MONTH.

AND OF COURSE, LAST YEAR WE'RE BEGINNING TO SET QUITE A RIVALRY.

THE TEAM FROM SAN DIMAS PROSTART TEAM FROM SAN DIMAS WON NUMBER ONE IN THE STATE, WENT ON TO NATIONALS UNDER THE HEADING OF CTE PARTNERSHIP PATHWAYS COUPLED WITH STEM OPPORTUNITIES AND SPONSORSHIPS.

FROM THE JEFF PINO FOUNDATION.

SELECT BONITA UNIFIED HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ATTENDED THE EXPO TO LEARN ABOUT CAREERS IN AVIATION, AND IT'S A PARTICULARLY INTERESTING STORY AND ONE THAT'S QUITE REWARDING, AND WE'LL LOOK FORWARD TO LEARNING MORE ABOUT THAT IN THE FUTURE.

LOOKING FORWARD TO THE CONTINUATION OF OUR CAMPUS OPEN HOUSE SEASON AND TO OUR UPCOMING PERFORMING ARTS PRESENTATIONS AT THE BONITA CENTER FOR THE ARTS. LOOKING FORWARD TO OUR CONTINUING DIALOG AND CONSIDERATION ABOUT THE DISTRICT'S FACILITIES, MASTER PLAN, AND THE SIGNIFICANT NEEDS WE HAVE WITH CAMPUS INFRASTRUCTURE, TECHNOLOGY, AND THE ENVIRONMENT OF LEARNING AND HOW THEY INTERSECT WITH THE FUTURE OF A GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND FROM UNSEEN FOUNDATIONS AND INFRASTRUCTURE TO SWIMMING POOLS FOR WATER SPORTS AND TO THE EVER CHANGING, EVER CHANGING NEEDS OF TECHNOLOGY TO PROVIDE STUDENTS ACCESS TO THE CURRICULUM.

LOOKING FORWARD TO SCHEDULING ANOTHER FENTANYL AWARENESS NIGHT AND EDUCATION SESSION FOR OUR PARENTS AND COMMUNITY.

WE KNOW IT SAVES LIVES.

AND LOOKING FORWARD ALSO TO ANOTHER DISTRICT ROUNDTABLE FOR THE END OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR, IN OUR ONGOING DIALOG WITH OUR COMMUNITY ON OUR JOURNEY TO BUILDING AND MAINTAINING TRUST.

AND CONGRATULATIONS ALSO TO RACHEL BRATACCAS NEWCOMER AND INCUMBENT ERIC WEBER ON THEIR WINS FOR SAN DIMAS CITY COUNCIL YESTERDAY, AND WE'LL LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH THEM IN THE DAYS TO COME.

THANK YOU. FIRST, I'D ACTUALLY LIKE TO THANK SONIA.

WHEN WE WERE GOING THROUGH THE BUDGET REPORTS READING HER REPORT WAS A LOT LIKE THE PRESENTATION AT SAN DIMAS HIGH SCHOOL.

SAN DIMAS WAS. THE STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE WAS SAYING, WE WON THIS, WE WON THAT, WE WON THIS.

[00:50:03]

WE WANT THAT. AND I'M GOING THROUGH THE BACK PAGE OF THE REPORT, AND WE PASSED THIS.

WE PASSED THAT, WE PASSED THIS, WE PASSED THAT.

SO THE PRESENTATION WE HAD IT WAS A VERY QUICK OVERVIEW, BUT THE DETAILS, THERE WAS SOME REALLY AMAZING WORK BEING DONE. AND I JUST REALLY WANT TO SAY THANK YOU.

THERE WAS SOME STELLAR WORK.

SO THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL OF OUR COMMUNITY PARTNERS.

THANK YOU. THE SAN DIMAS MASONIC LODGE, THANK YOU FOR THE SOROPTIMIST.

THANK YOU FOR THE ROTARY.

AND WE HAVE A LOT OF PARTNERS WHO DO A LOT OF THINGS.

I THINK RACHEL IS ALSO A SOROPTIMIST.

WE HAVE PRINCIPALS AND STAFF MEMBERS WHO SHOW UP TO THINGS ALL THE TIME.

WE HAVE PARENTS WHO SHOW UP TO MANY THINGS.

SO THERE I THINK IT WAS ORIGINALLY AN AFRICAN PROVERB, BUT WHERE IT SAYS IT TAKES A VILLAGE TO RAISE A CHILD, EVERY SINGLE, I GUESS COMPONENT IS VERY INVOLVED IN RAISING HIGH FUNCTIONING KIDS, AND I THINK IT IS WHERE ALL THE STAKEHOLDERS ARE INVOLVED THAT REALLY HELP OUR KIDS HAVE STELLAR TEST SCORES AND I THINK BRIGHT FUTURES.

IT WASN'T MY IDEA.

I NOTICED IT, BUT I THINK IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN MATT WHO MIGHT HAVE POINTED IT OUT.

BUT IF YOU LOOK AT THE BOARD UPDATES AND OBVIOUSLY YOU'RE NOT READING THE BOARD UPDATES, WE READ THE BOARD UPDATES.

THEY HAVE CHANGED AND THEY'VE CHANGED FOR THE BETTER.

AND AGAIN, I LIKE WE GET A LOT OF GOOD INFORMATION.

WE HEAR ABOUT ALL THE SPORT VICTORIES, ALL THE GAMES THAT ARE HAPPENING.

WE HEAR ABOUT ALL THE WONDERFUL THINGS THAT OUR SCHOOLS ARE DOING.

SOMETIMES WE HEAR ABOUT OTHER THINGS, TOO.

BUT FOR THE MOST PART, THERE'S A LOT OF STELLAR THINGS HAPPENING.

BUT NOW WE'RE ALSO HEARING ABOUT, YOU KNOW, ALL THE ART PERFORMANCES THAT ARE HAPPENING BECAUSE WE ACTUALLY VALUE ALL THE DIFFERENT PATHWAYS EQUALLY.

WE'RE NOT JUST HAVING ONE WITH PRIDE OF PLACE.

WE HEAR ABOUT TRADE PATHWAYS BECAUSE NOT ALL KIDS SHOULD GO TO COLLEGE, WANT TO GO TO COLLEGE, AND WE WANT TO MAKE SURE EACH KID CAN LIVE THEIR PURPOSE.

SO I REALLY APPRECIATE THE COLLECTIVE VISION OF THE BOARD AND THE WORK OF THE SUPERINTENDENT AND HIS STAFF FOR HELPING US NOT JUST FOCUS ON ONE NARROW PATHWAY, BUT TO ACTUALLY HELP US TO HELP EACH KID GET THE BEST POSSIBLE EDUCATION.

SO SOMETIMES THOSE THINGS TRICKLE DOWN, YOU KNOW, LIKE WE'RE GETTING GREAT DATA, WE'RE GETTING A WHOLE BUNCH OF THINGS.

AND THOSE THINGS SOMETIMES TRICKLE DOWN AND IT TAKES A WHILE FOR THEM TO REALLY SHOW FRUIT.

AND IT'S ALWAYS EXCITING WHEN YOU START SEEING THESE THINGS PLAY OUT.

SO THANK YOU FOR EVERYONE WHO WORKS ON IT.

I KNOW THESE THINGS AREN'T ALWAYS FUN, BUT THE END PRODUCT IS WE'RE GOING TO HAVE KIDS WHO ARE VERY WELL EQUIPPED FOR LIFE.

SO TO EVERYONE WHO PARTICIPATES AND IT'S PRETTY MUCH EVERYONE HERE, EVERYONE WHO WAS HERE, EVERYONE IN THIS ROOM, THANK YOU FOR WHAT YOU DO.

AND AS A PARENT, IT'S A DOUBLE THANK YOU.

NOT AS JUST A BOARD MEMBER, BUT THANK YOU FOR HELPING MY KIDS.

MY NEIGHBORS KIDS HAVE A BETTER FUTURE.

AND THAT'S ALL I GOT.

GOOD EVENING. SORRY.

IT'S OKAY. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO THANK RACHEL AND ERIC.

CONGRATULATE. YEAH. GOOD EVENING.

I WAS SPEAKING TO MR. RODRIGUEZ FROM POMONA IN MY ROLE AS A BOARD MEMBER FOR SAN ANTONIO REGIONAL OCCUPATIONAL PROGRAM, OR WHAT WE CALL SAROP.

AND IT WAS INTERESTING BECAUSE WE ALSO TALKED ABOUT ENROLLMENT.

AND HERE IN BONITA, WE'RE LOOKING AT A SLIGHTLY INCREASED ENROLLMENT AND IT MAINTAINING STEADY OVER THREE YEARS.

AND AND HE REFLECTED ON HOW DIFFICULT IT HAD BEEN OVER IN POMONA, BECAUSE THEY'VE HAD TO CLOSE A NUMBER OF SCHOOLS AND THEY HAD AT ONE POINT WERE LOSING ABOUT 700 STUDENTS A YEAR.

RIGHT AND THEY'RE HOPING THAT IT'S LEVELED OFF AND THEN THEY SEND US INFORMATION IN OUR ROLE AS SCHOOL BOARDS, WE BELONG TO A SCHOOL, A STATEWIDE SCHOOL BOARD ORGANIZATION.

AND THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT THE DECLINING ENROLLMENT AND THAT IT WILL IMPACT US THROUGH IN THE STATE THROUGH ABOUT 2030.

AND WE'VE JUST DONE A REALLY FANTASTIC JOB HERE IN BONITA OF PROVIDING PROGRAMS THAT KEEP.

INTERESTING PARENTS IN BRINGING THEIR STUDENTS TO US.

SO WE HEARD THAT WITH ALL THE STUDENTS GIVING PRESENTATIONS TONIGHT, ALL THE WONDERFUL THINGS THAT ARE GOING ON AT OUR SCHOOLS AND THE OPPORTUNITIES THAT ARE GIVEN TO STUDENTS TO REALLY ACHIEVE.

SO HATS OFF TO BONITA.

THIS MONTH I GOT TO I WAS ABLE TO GO TO THE SPELLING BEE AND TO MARY POPPINS AND DO THAT BOARD WORK AT LA VERNE HEIGHTS.

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY AGAIN, IT SHOWS THE HEART OF BONITA.

YOU GO TO MARY POPPINS AND IT'S THIS INCREDIBLE PLAY.

AND THEY HAVE BROUGHT IN SO MANY ELEMENTARY STUDENTS TO BE IN THAT PLAY.

THERE MUST HAVE BEEN OVER 50, 60 STUDENTS.

[00:55:03]

AND THEY WERE NOT ONLY JUST STUDENTS FROM 100, OKAY.

100. I MEAN, THEY WERE JUST ALL OVER THE PLACE, BUT IT THEY IT WASN'T JUST BONITA STUDENTS TOO THEY GAVE OPPORTUNITIES TO OUR LOCAL PRIVATE SCHOOLS AND TO OTHER SCHOOLS IN THE AREA, AND OTHER SCHOOL DISTRICTS.

SO THERE WERE ELEMENTARY AND STUDENTS FROM ALL OVER THE PLACE.

SO WHAT A HEART THAT PROGRAM HAS FOR REALLY ENCOURAGING THE ARTS WITH STUDENTS IN OUR COMMUNITY.

IT WAS TERRIFIC.

ANOTHER THIS IS THE A RECOGNITION MONTH FOR AUTISM.

AND AGAIN, IN OUR APPROVALS TODAY, WE APPROVED FOR THE AUTISM SPECTRUM ATHLETICS, BASEBALL, T-BALL PROGRAMS TO BE ABLE TO USE OUR FIELDS AT EKSTRAND ON SUNDAYS THROUGH MARCH THROUGH MAY.

AND I THINK THAT'S FANTASTIC.

AND SHOWING OUR CONTINUED WORK WITH OUR CITIES, WE APPROVED TO CONTINUE 50 OVER 50 FUNDING OUR CROSSING GUARD AT JUANITA AND WALNUT, WHICH IS TO, YOU KNOW, HELP OUT WITH THE SAFETY OF OUR KIDS THAT GO TO EKSTRAND ELEMENTARY.

AND I ALSO WANTED TO SAY THIS IS NATIONAL WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH, AND I'M ALSO A MEMBER OF SOROPTIMIST.

AND WE JUST CONCLUDED THIS WEEK OUR DREAM IT BE IT PROGRAM WITH STUDENTS YOUNG GIRLS FROM CHAPARRAL HIGH SCHOOL.

AND IT IS SUCH AN INCREDIBLE PROGRAM.

WE WORK WITH THEM ON CAREER GOALS AND YOU KNOW, WE GIVE TO THE KIDS AND THEY GIVE IT BACK.

YOU JUST, YOU COME AWAY JUST FEELING REALLY A MUCH CLOSER RELATIONSHIP WITH THE STUDENTS HERE IN THIS DISTRICT.

AND I AM VERY PROUD TO SAY THAT SOROPTIMISTS HAVE ALSO RECEIVED A $40,000 GRANT THAT IS GOING TO ALLOW US TO PROVIDE SOME OPPORTUNITIES FOR GIRLS AT CHAPARRAL, ABOUT $10,000 A YEAR FOR THE NEXT FOUR YEARS.

AND WE'LL BE, I'M SURE, AT SOME POINT, BE ABLE TO GIVE A REPORT TO THE BOARD ON THAT.

AND IN CLOSING, JUST A QUOTE FROM RUTH BADER GINSBURG IN RECOGNITION WITH WOMEN'S HISTORY.

I JUST REALLY LIKE THIS QUOTE.

AND WE'RE ALL IN SERVICE.

AND AND HER QUOTE, THE QUOTE IS FIGHT FOR THE THINGS THAT YOU CARE ABOUT, BUT DO IT IN A WAY THAT WILL LEAD OTHERS TO JOIN YOU.

AND I THINK THAT'S WHAT WE DO HERE IN BONITA.

SO THANK YOU. ALL RIGHT.

SO THANKS FOR SAYING MY POINTS AS WELL.

BUT JUST KEEP IT SHORT. I'M KIND OF LIKE WHAT I'M HEARING FROM THE BOARD MEMBERS, FROM THE STUDENT REPS.

FROM THE EXEC CABINET.

I SEE A LOT OF DEDICATION JUST THROUGHOUT, EVERYWHERE.

DEDICATION TO STUDENTS.

I KNOW IT'S AUTISM ACCEPTANCE MONTHS.

LAST MONTH, WE HAD A RECOGNITION ONE OF OUR SCHOOLS IS LIKE A MODEL SCHOOL FOR AUTISM.

AND THERE'S SO MUCH WORK THAT GOES IN.

I KNOW A LOT OF ONE ON ONE AND CLASSROOM AIDES IN THERE.

THEY BECOME LIKE SECOND PARENTS ALMOST TO THE KIDS DURING THOSE 5 OR 6 HOURS, AND THEY REALLY TRANSFORM LIVES.

I KNOW THAT WE RECOGNIZE IN OUR CONSENT AGENDA HOW BECAUSE OF THE RISE OF THOSE CONCERNS LIKE AIDS, AND WE USED TO PUT STOP GAP MEASURES LIKE, LET'S GET A SUB FOR THIS TIME.

AND THAT JUST KEPT BUILDING UP.

AND NOW I KNOW IT'S COSTING US SOME MONEY, BUT WE'RE REALLY DEDICATED TO DOING THE RIGHT THING.

NOW WE HAVE PERMANENT POSITIONS FOR THEM, MORE QUALIFIED AND MORE INVESTED FOR OUR STUDENTS.

SO I'M EXCITED ABOUT THAT.

WE SEE DEDICATION WITH THE ARTS.

I KNOW YOU WENT TO MARY POPPINS.

MY DAUGHTER AND HER FRIENDS WENT TO SEE ANNIE, AND IT'S FUNNY HOW THEY GO IN LIKE, OH, WE'RE GOING TO SEE SOME OF MY FRIENDS ARE IN IT.

AND THEN THEY ALWAYS COME OUT LIKE, MAN, THAT WAS THE BEST SHOW EVER.

I DON'T BELIEVE THAT.

YOU KNOW, RAMONA KIDS OR BILLY HILL KIDS CAN DO THAT.

AND IT'S LIKE, IT'S SHOCKING TO MY GIRL WHO DOESN'T GET SHOCKED BY MUCH.

SO JUST THE DEDICATION OF THOSE TEACHERS AND STAFF GET PUT IN THERE AS WELL.

DEDICATION TO OUR TK.

WE'RE HEARING ABOUT TK AND THOSE NUMBERS COMING IN.

I WORK IN A DISTRICT AND WE FOLLOW THE CALENDAR WHEN WE LET KIDS IN, BUT WE TOOK THE FINANCIAL HIT.

WE HAVE THAT BURDEN OF TRYING TO FIND A PLACE FOR THEM, BUT WE KNOW THAT'S DOING THE RIGHT THING IS TO GIVE IT FOR EVERYONE THAT CAN USE IT.

AND WE'RE GOING TO MAKE ALL KIDS OUT THERE BONITA KIDS.

SO THANK YOU TO EVERYONE I KNOW.

MARCH IS PROBABLY THE HARDEST MONTH IN EDUCATION.

MARCH MADNESS HAS A DIFFERENT MEANING FOR EDUCATORS BECAUSE THERE'S NO BREAKS.

YOU WORK 31 DAYS UNTIL SPRING BREAK, AND THAT'S WHEN ALL THE BEHAVIORS SEEM TO COME UP IN SCHOOLS.

ALL THE IEPS SOMEHOW HAPPEN IN MARCH.

AND IT'S A LONG STRETCH UNTIL WE SEE SPRING BREAK AND THAT FINISH LINE.

SO THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO WORKS HERE FOR YOUR DEDICATION, EVEN ALL THE ADMINS WHO ARE STILL HERE AT 7:00 LISTENING TO PEOPLE LIKE ME TALK.

THANKS FOR BEING HERE. WE REALLY APPRECIATE EVERYTHING YOU DO FROM THE BOARD.

ALL RIGHT. A LOT OF POSITIVITY TONIGHT, NOT ONLY FROM THE BOARD, OBVIOUSLY, THE STUDENTS TO PUT A BOW ON IT.

I WANT TO POINT EVERYONE TO OUR WEBSITE.

THERE'S A GREAT COMMERCIAL ABOUT BONITA UNIFIED ON THERE CALLED THE BONITA WAY.

[01:00:02]

AND IT HIGHLIGHTS ALL THE THINGS YOU HEARD TONIGHT ABOUT WHAT A GREAT DISTRICT IT IS, IRONICALLY, ALREADY OUT OF DATE WHEN WE MADE IT A MONTH AGO. THE NUMBERS HAVE ALREADY CHANGED.

WE'VE ALREADY WON FOUR MORE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS.

WE'D HAVE A LOT MORE AWARDS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS.

BUT POINT EVERY COMMUNITY MEMBER TO THAT COMMERCIAL.

SHARE IT WITH YOUR FRIENDS.

THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO BE.

AND THAT COMMERCIAL IN 90S ENCAPSULATES IT.

WOULD LIKE TO THANK OUR PARTNER VMA FOR PUTTING THAT TOGETHER FOR US AND DOES A GREAT JOB OF PROMOTING OUR DISTRICT.

ALRIGHT. THANK YOU.

ALRIGHT. REQUEST TO SPEAK ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS, COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC, ANY COMMUNITY NO CARDS.

PTA. [INAUDIBLE].

NOBODY GOING ONCE.

ALL RIGHT. FUTURE MEETING DATE.

[19. FUTURE MEETING DATES]

WE'LL MEET AGAIN NEXT REGULAR BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING WILL BE APRIL 10TH, 2020.

FOR ANY ITEMS FOR FUTURE AGENDAS? IF NOT, WE'LL PROCEED TO CLOSE AT 7:02.
